i have a blackberry curve 8520 and i connected it to my router at home but it only has a white tick, says "Wi-Fi is ON" ("on" in green) and a white line at the end. i looked on forums and they said go on menu>options>advanced options>browser>hotspot browser. i did that but then when i went on browser it said "This is a Wi-Fi service. Please ensure your device has an active Wi-Fi connection and try again." By the way when i go on Manage Connections>Wi-Fi options it says "Active Wi-Fi Connection: None" i think i need to change it to my home router but i don't know how. i click on wifi selection mode: manual then click on the router, so next to the router on saved wifi profiles it has a black circle with a white dot in it.... but nothing else happens. it still says "active wifi connections: none."
