Yes it has been cut. SSI is based on her income. Now that she is married your income is counted as part hers, so they will reduce her checks.
 
If y'all got married, they will now take your income into account.She probably is losing that money. She should have a letter from the SSI people stating it if you want to check. What kind of marriage do you have that you guys can't communicate or trust each other on simple financial issues? This doesn't bode well for the longevity of your marriage. Good luck.
 
Well let's see - now that you're married, your income is her income.

Why on earth would the government need to support her when she has you now?? You knew she didn't earn money. Don't be shocked now that she gets less of it for free.
