And my point was ,With crap on TV like Bold and the Beautiful ,why wont marriage be a sanctity that couples will cherish.All you see on that soapie is everybody sleeping with each other. Your thoughts on this?
 
And this is new to you? Soap operas have been promoting infidelity for years and years!

It's not iust the soap operas. It's our whole culture. We live in a "fast-food" society where we want what we want, when we want it. People are so used to life in fast motion that they haven't learned how to work for what you want and earn life's rewards.

Our ridiculous divorce rate has nothing to do with soap operas, they have been on the air with the same story lines for 30+ years. Night-time television doesn't send any better messages either.
No one should be using television as an example of how to live or what choices to make.
A good marriage takes strength, a lot of hard work, dedication and the desire to spend the rest of your lives ogether - AND it takes both parties to want this 100%
