I have a 1997' Jeep Wrangler 4cyl 5 speed, today i was driving down the road, and my check gauges light came on, and my voltage gauge dropped to 0. it still runs fine, therefor it is not the alternator, the battery is still good, I can turn it off and back on, and it is fine, but after about 20 sec. of being on the gauge drops and the light comes back on, I think it may be a relay kicking off, anyone got any other ideas?
it is not the alternator, i can drive the jeep as long as I want, lights and everything work, the battery is 6 months old, and is slowly dieing from starting the jeep and not being able to charge, and I can shut off the jeep and start back up and it works fine for a min then the light comes on and the voltage meter drops, but when it come back on the battery is slowly getting lower ont eh voltage gauge.
