I ran a program called wisefixer to clean up my computer and after it was done I wasn't getting any audio on my VLC media player and a game I frequently play wouldn't load. I un-installed and re-installed both VLC and the game launcher and the game launcher worked, though now I have to re-install it every time I want to load it. VLC still isn't working. I downloaded realplayer and that is getting audio, but I want to use VLC. I went into the sounds in my control panel and everything is at 100%.
How can I fix this? I want VLC to work and be able to play my game normally.
