my USB flash items are not there but i still have the used space of them?

mine is 4GB and i had 3.94 it says i used 3.94 GB but nothing is in the USB i tried putting a text and it worked no problems but i tried putting a heavy program it has no space its like they r there but dissapeared please help guys i also tried showing hidden files not working
 
it's rounded up, all harddrives are the same, says 1tb yet only 931 gbs. the conversion from mb to gb and essentially ends up rounded up. so your 4gb flash is truly 3.94 gb.
 
When you import things into the flash drive, their are two ways to do it. If you don't one of these ways, the items won't show:


Way #1-

Do a right-click on the item(s) you want to put on the flash drive. Move your courser over the 'Send To' menu and choose your flash drive. It should be there.


Way #2-

Again, do a right-click over the item(s) you want to put on the flash drive. Then select 'Copy'. Go to the blank space in the flash drive's folder and click CTRL + V (Paste).


If they aren't there, it's your flash drive, computer, or both.

Check the flash drive for a safety switch. Some drives have a read-only mode when the switch is flipped. This can sometimes cause the computer the not read the information properly.
