My Unlocked HTC G1 Won't Send Text Messages Anymore?

I unlocked my HTC/T-mobile g1 to orange about a week ago and i could do everything it said it could do but suddenly i can't send text messages. I can recieve messages though. I also can send and recieve calls.

Does anyone know what to do to fix this?

I'm on Pay As You Go if it helps. And i do have credit + free texts
