a little background Informationn, i am a 15 year old high school student and recovering addict. I recently had a relapse, (when you use drugs after being clean for any period of time) i became very depressed and wrote a story that i am not yet done with. Don't forget i was under the influence of drugs when this was written, so it is by no means my best work, but i would still like to know what ya'll think. CONSTRUCTIVE criticism only please! (nothing was changed or altered, this is exactly how i wrote it)
"Waves of sadness going all through my body, starting at my head and ending at my feet. It's a beautiful sadness, the kind of sadness a mother might experience when her baby boy leaves home. It's a beautiful place, the world. the violence and hatred make it even more wonderful. It's a crazy and imperfect place, and you have to embrace the chaos to appreciate it, the way i appreciate it right this second. And its wonderful."
I would like to keep working on this piece, maybe change some things when i sober up, im sure it seems like jumbled ramblings, but it made sense to me at the time. Thank you for taking the time to read my "work". I also have a more complete story under my questions asked. If someone took something away from this it would make me feel very good, again, thanks everybody!
