...sick for 2 days we finally found? out what was going on after an early morning trip to the ER, after previously being told by their peds doc it was a simple virus, when their fevers reached 104 and they got pale and complained of a terrible headache and had this really bad cough I knew something more serious was going on, luckily I work at a local ER and took them in to see a doctor I work with and he knew right away, did the test and the results broke my heart, as any mother would be I was soo worried, I knew the facts but had heard so many horror stories of possible affects, luckily they are taking tama flu and seem to be doing much better thus far, my question and big concern is my 10 month old is developing the same symptoms, fever of 102', chest cough, decreased appetite, I know this can be fatal for a child of her age, and I called the doctor earlier when she wasn't quite as bad and they said their was nothing they could do, Im sure this is the swine flu because it is so easily spread, but I cant just sit back and watch something bad happen to any of them I need to know if their is anything I can do to protect her I know at her age their are medicines she cant take like the older ones can but isn't their anything I can do? This whole situation is breaking my heart! I don't want to lose any of my children I want to do something as their mom to get them back to good health!
