T TV guy New member Jul 3, 2009 #2 Lets put it this way, whatever the problem, you can't fix it yourself. If it turns on using the remote, It can be as simple as a bad switch. If not, who knows. You will need to call service.

T Tilakae New member Jul 3, 2009 #4 Power supply or deguse circuit, sometimes cuased by crt/tube. In this case I would say crt is weak.
