...cats just a straigh pipe to? my truck is a chevy ext cab 1500.i recently got it and noticed that its running no cats just a straigh pipe to a cherry bomb glasspack.i am just wondering over time will the glasspack go bad cause i thought you need a little back pressure for vehicles?
 
you need back pressure? what about a drag racer where would they get their back pressure they have a 3 foot pipe going from the header to up into the air. i wont say they can't go bad but it wont be from no back pressure, they would probably wrought off or rust from the inside out.
