When I try to sew, the machine takes the fabric into the machine with the teeth, making it stuck, so I have to stop sewing and completely remove the fabric, with a lot of difficulty. It comes out with a lot of threads sewn through it and often knots too.
I have tried completely rethreading both the top and bottom of the machine, and oiling the bottom, both with no luck. I don't know why this has happened, I have not changed the thread tension or the stitch, but now this happens every time I try to sew. I have even tried different fabrics! Is there anything else I can do to try to stop it from taking the fabric in? Do I need to move the feed teeth or something?
Please note - I am by no means a professional and I may need quite well explained instructions! My sewing machine is a Toyota model RS2000 STF, single dial model.
Thanks very much!
