my toyota corolla 2007?

i have a toyota corolla 2007 & i just got it. & when i took it home & push the alarm

the lights just flash & locks the doors...
aren't i supposed to hear a beep sound or something??

when i push the panic button the alarm goes off..& the red light flashes inside works fine
but when i push lock it doesnt make a beep?

Is it supposed to do that?!!

the horn works also....
 
my alarm does'nt 2001 rover. a lot of the time the alarm is wired to the horn as its siren so i would'nt worry you done the main thing,check to see it works!
 
may be your alarm is without any sound.
may be the fuse is out, so try to replace the fuse with a new one.
