My toshiba laptop won't charge..it just flashes orange?

I recently bought the toshiba satellite m35x-s161. At first the laptop was working fine, but then it stop turning on. After doing my research I found out that the ac adapter went out, which was very common. So then I found another one around the house. When I would plug the ac adapter in an orange light would start flashing by the charge symbol, and then the plug symbol would also flash green. If you have any experience at all with toshiba products, please help me to resolve my problem.
 
Swap batteries and chargers with a friend -
You may find that it is either battery or charger -
If not then check the connections from the battery -
 
Sorry about your laptop! I hope you get it fix soon! or you should take it back were you got it and get a MAC instead! Good Luck!
 
This is,like you said,really common with Toshibas. You will have to buy a new adapter and if that doesn't work than it is your charger port and that will have to be replaced
 
I know that when that happened to my laptop everyone just told me the battery was kicked and I need to buy a new one.
Just putting that out there.
