My tooth jaw and throat hurt...my wisdom teeth are also just growing in too, why

do i feel such severe pain? so my wisdon teeth are growing in
there is a layer of swollen gum over half of the tooth
and only on the left side of my throat, jaw, and mouth, i feel severe pain
if i press down gently on the skin on the left part of my throat it feels like its bruised
what could i have?
