my tmo phone now says cingular?!?!?!

I just came downstairs for a smoke and checked my phone, and where it usually says "Tmobile" it says "cingular"!!! WTF?

It's roaming, not a big deal.. that's the best tower that it found for service

My 8700 says Cingular more than half the time. Technically tmo doesn't even show service in Charlotte NC, but sometimes I catch the signal. I don't worry about it with no roaming charges.

I'm in Jacksonville Florida and mine randomly selects cingular but if I try to manually select it even where it just displayed it it won't find cingular! What's that mean?

Sometimes my 8700 reboots itself and when it powers back up it says cingular
