overall, its very cool. Activation was a snap, zero problems, very simple. Kept my current 29 /mo plan with Cingular, added 20/mo data unlimited and kept my old phone number. did it all online in 10 minutes, was activated in 30 minutes. the Edge network is pretty weak, its much better if you are using Wifi when sending photos or downloading shit. the camera works great and is good quality. it is very easy to email photos, but it would be nice to be able to attach more than one pic at a time to an email. has lots of features that are useful, like maps, stocks, youtube, weather, calender
syncs very well with outlook, but make sure your contacts are up to snuff before syncing. it would be nice to be able to download ringtones directly to phone like you can with most phones instead of using itunes. Youtube is cool, but it won't find many vids, only popular ones. the touchscreen is awesome and gets easier to use each time. the photo manipulation is simply magical, you can shrink or expand pics just by squeezing or opening your fingers. also, when you turn the iphone sideways it goes into widescreen mode automatically, very cool
bottom line: v1 is great, this thing will be incredible in 5 years when they add memory and network speed and future features
