My tank is overstocked...I dont have the heart to flush the fish?

I have 7 guppies I need to relocate. I do not have the heart to flush them and my mom wont let me sell them or give them away because she says just flush them....but like I said I just cant....I get them down there the cup is like touching the toilet water and I go, "Aww I cant. What did you guys do? Huh? Lets go back!" Haha....they are all female guppies. I need a cheap tank....my mom wont let me get another 10 gallon....so it needs to be small...and cheap. 1 or 2 tanks I could keep on my desk. Thanks! How many guppies can be in one tank(that you recommended)?

The tank is 10 gallons!
There is a Betta, Dwarf Frog, 4 tetras, and 3 mollys.
 
Please don't flush the fish down the toilet. It is really cruel they get into the sewage waste and is basically poisoned to death. Well you have several options in terms of tanks.

1. One Three Gallon tank: Place 7 guppies in there. Yes it will be a bit tight and it is not optimal but guppies are relatively hardy fish and should survive as long as you keep up with the water changes.

2. 2 two gallon tanks: Place three guppies in one tank and 4 guppies in another tank. This would be the more expensive way of doing it but is a little bit easier on the fish in terms of space.

3. One 5 gallon tank. Put all 7 guppies in there. This would probably be cheaper than #2. But more expensive than #1.

Personally I have tried out #2. and it works. So despite what other people say I hold firm that these tank sizes are great. As a matter of fact. Guppies don't get very large so they are just right for keeping in small tanks.
 
then u should call a local pet store nd ask if they can take some of them in they will most likly sa yes

1 1/2 gallon will do but you will have to to a to 5 gallon tank but they breed rapid so you might want to get some other small tanks for them!! also .............
 
The basic rule is an inch of fish to a gallon of water. I would say your best bet is to take them to a pet store...I wouldn't be able to flush them either.
