My T-Mobile phone disconnected. Can I use a calling card to use it?

Shame on me, I was late & my regular T-Mobile phone has been disconnected (not under contract anymore).

Can I use a calling card & use disconnected phone for a few days before I pay & get my connection back?

Is it possible to use the same number?

What are my choices? Thanks!
