my t-mobile G1 keeps freezing up, help me please...

i do got it rooted its been like 5 months since ive done it and like a month ago it keeps freezing up and i gott take out the battery to make it work. its on 1.6 eclair if im correct....is there any way i can upgrade it or get a new upgrade? help please
 
Your rooted....I would suggest getting one of the backup apps for root users to back up your apps and settings and wipe the phone. Or maybe even try Cache Cleaner for root users. Or maybe simply clearing your cache from recovery.

can yall hook up with a new update? eclair or hero, idk something good for the G1, i did the recovery, took forever but it happened and it hasnt froze, YET...
 
I am using Chromatic 3.5, Though there are newer vesions. I found this 3.5 to be more stable then the newest release of Chromatic. Oh and it's based off of Cyanogen's latest. More info.....
