my subs are connected to my stock deck with an rca adapter. i have the infinty sound system also in my car. they were working right for 3 weeks and then today when i went to turn them up loud they cut out i would turn the volume back down and then they would come back on. i checked all connections and fuses they are good. also when they cut out the amp stays on but the speakers dont have any power to them. i think i only need a capacitor but i dont want to spend the money if that is not going to be it.
i checked the ground should i put a bigger wire for the ground and no nothing is shorting because its only when it is turned up high
wait new problem now they wont work until i turn y lights on. and then if i dim down the dashbaord lights the ywill shut off and it will just be the normal speakers and thats it... what could cause all of this? i mean i know pretty much what im doing but have never run into this problem before

i would have to guess the problem is your deck although stalk decks can be good there not made to be rattled around by after market subs , your deck it most likely tied into the electrical of you dash lights when you dim your light your deck dims to ? i guessing you rattled your deck silly in the last 3 weeks ,, time to get an alpine witch an take the vibration

im just giving a guess here but if im not mistaking you have a bad wiring problem i assume that you just start over

you didnt check your ground ;)
A capacitor will not help you one bit in this situation.
