Okay...so I just got this baby anole lizard, and the lady said I needed to feed him a cricket at least every 3 days. and I bought four small gut loaded crickets to start off with. I put them downstairs, went to bed,and when I got up and went downstairs...they weren't there anymore. I looked EVERYWHERE he cold possibly put the bag. I was wondering if my anole would be fine with just meal worms until I get some more crickets? Cuz this is the 3rd day he went without crickets.*the lady said she fed him one before she gave it to me two days ago* I just want to know if it would affect him in any way? Thanks.
Well He ate the meal worms I fed him yesterday.-.- and no I could only get the basic things, light, tank, some furnishings, the husk chips, and some food, til I get more money. The tank was abit expensive. I was thinking I would go back on wednesday, to get more crickets, and things to help settle him in more.

no you need more crickets, mealworms have only protein, no calcium or fat, waxworms are 90% moisture and fat also no protein, if you have some calcium supplements which you really need with anoles and all lizards then if you coat half of them in calcium, it will be fine....

But

A few days shouldn't be bad, they have really fast motabalism, but you wont get ill effects so fast.... if and when it gets ill it will have calcium defficiancy, and his/her skin will suffer , and the bones will go soft and malformed, i forgot the name of the condition but it does kill them
