rented business premises in 30 days? Basically he owes over £17,000 in rent that he has not managed to pay over a period of time. He has tried payment plans but quite frankly the business does not make enough money to cover the rent most of the time, let alone the defecit. He has been handed a letter in person basically stating that he has 30 days if the debt is not paid in full, then legal procdedings will begin for eviction.
My question is what can the landlord do with regards to access to the property once the time is up. Can they bolt the gate to restrict access to the site?
Can stock be taken on and of the site?
Can the business carry on trading?
How long is an eviction likely to take?
If anybody can advise from either a professional or past experience view.
It would be greatly appreciated
