...a new sprint phone? I still have more than a year on my contract, but i hate this phone, it freezes too much. The charger slot is broken inside so i can't charge my phone, (i use an extra battery) Do you think instead of getting a replacement of the same phone, I could get a different one?

yes you can get another phone, it will however cost you more. Honestly, your best bet is to buy someone elses phone via craigslist or something and have sprint activate it. A much cheaper option if your willing to use a used phone.
