My Sports card collection..Hockey Basketball cards What do people think?

I am in my late 20's have collected cards for 22 years and have accumulated like 5 -10 million sports cards. I enjoy buying opening them but when do I know when to get rid of some of them. I have cards that are worth nothing and yet some are worth thousands of dollars had it appraised the whole collection . answers would be great thanks
 
Well, what's the question?

I used to collect baseball cards in my 20's and 30's -- sort of a throwback to childhood. The problem is that it isn't a particularly liquid investment, and it's tough to get fair value back. But if you just like the cards, no harm at all.
