what this means? model gtr 6001 it is a 600watt 4ohm rms or 900watt into 2ohm rms

gives a diagram of connecting a set of full range speakers into the 2 provided terminals
i assume i can just stick a set of highoutput tweeters onto it but wouldnt that mean im getting like 600watts rms to them ?? or does the wattage change??that seems like alot
really not very good information in the manual on this or anything on the net about the option but i bought the amp on sale even before knowing this could be done....
