card" or speakers -Tough Quest? Here are some views of the inside of my laptop:

As you can see from the second photo, the "soundcard" is actually integrated with the Sony VAIO VGN-FW M760 Audio USB Board ( http://www.brtpartstore.com/Item/Detail?theItemIID=1760728&cvsfa=2692&cvsfe=2&cvsfhu=31373630373238 ). I have also found the speakers: http://cgi.ebay.com/PCG-3B4L-FW139E-SPEAKERS-/130491997898?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item1e61eddeca#ht_500wt_1156
But what should I replace? I looked at my speakers and the wiring and they look intact, so is that usb sound card. My guess is to replace that usb sound card to have my laptop's sound working. What do you think?
Thank you.
Having it checked out would turn out to be way more expensive than buying both the speakers and the usb sound card, so that's not an option, thanks.
If it doesn't fix it, than I guess I'll try for the other one. But which one should I try first, the usb sound card or the speakers? I think I should go with the usb sound card first, but that's just my opinion. What are yours?
I just remembered that whenever I plugged my headphones in, the sound didn't work either, so that must be the usb sound card!
