My Sony Ericsson c901's keypad wont light up. Anyone else have this problem?

Hi, as stated in the subject line. I just got a C901 SE today, my keypad wont light up with the ambient light in the keys like it's supposed to. I have searched over the internet and no one else seem to have this as a problem.

So I was wondering if anyone else here have experienced the same?
 
I have the same problem. My keypad only lights up when I plug it into charge. At night it is so hard to see the keys
