My son who is 4 years old has a Temperature of 38.6 degrees for nearly three days now?

went to doctors on the second day said he has a ear infection and hes on antibiotics this is second ear infection in 2 weeks. The reason im worried is every time pandol wears of his temperature hit 38 and over sometimes it's close 39 degrees. Is normal to have a Temperature this long?
 
Normal is 37 degrees, you should bring your child to the hospital just in case since its been going on for 4 days now.
