A slap on the wrist & a fine! Criminals get more Support by the law then the victims! That is a fact! Now days everything is rushed and they will just get it over and done with. I met someone who was done for A.B.H and got 2 months in prison but only served 1 month for good behaviour! He paid no fine or nothing, Just went to court, jail and free man! I always wonder how many years does it take for the victim to feel like a free person? A lot longer then 1 month! The law against crime in the UK is crap! One of the reasons it is crap is purely to cut too much paper work & we are too soft on these criminals, which is why they do all the easy crimes but not the serious once. Youths are not intimidated by police these days as they get to much legal power on their side to to defend them self's. We need proper law enforcements like military style police to bring the fear back into these criminals & justice to the victims. This way is the only way like the Mayor in New York did and spend millions of pounds to clean up the streets and place police on every corner! It really worked in the States so maybe we ought to do it here. Gordon Brown would never do that of course he would rather spend millions by flushing it down the toilet!

First offence - slap on the wrist and possibly a small fine

Second or more - could get more serious - laregr fine - put on probation order...

It is hard to tell to be honest - it all depends on the people in court and how the feel at that time. I have seen many strange results in my time....
