...to make payments on it.? He is paying monthly more than what he would have paid if he kept the truck. Yesterday they asked him for $700 to resolve the unpaid balance but he needed to get it Toyota in a couple hours and this was impossible. Now they called him and asked him if he is going to pay the remaining $2800. What can they do if he doesn't?
 
If its a loan, he is obligated to pay it back. Where is the contract he signed. If its something he is obligated to pay back. Then they can get a court order to garnish his wages.
