My son dropped my samsung camera, and now it won't work. Help!?

My 4 year old son dropped my samsung LCD camera and the zoom lens is stuck. WHen I press the power button, it turns on, the off and the zoom is stuck open. I am very upset about it, and aside from sending it in to be fixed is there anything I can try to do to fix it? sigh.....
