My sister accidentally left the garden hose running at full blast for 24 hours ...?

what is that going to do to my parent's water bill?
She said she thought she turned it off, but she actually turned it all the way on. She left it laying pointed toward the side and back of the house, and no one ever goes around to that side in the back yard. The only way my parents figured it out was when there was no water pressure in the house at all.

Are there any cut offs or limits to how much they will charge you, or is "the sky the limit" on what the bill can be?
 
i no the water company will raise it and when u leave the water on like that your house begans to sink in the ground but u may not notice it but sometimes it will
 
In all actuality it isn't the water part that is worrysome..here in Panama city Florida...the sewage part is 3 times higher than the actual water usage..thisseems unfair for we also cook and drink water that the sewage treatment plant charges us to treat as raw sewage..thank goodness I am on a well and septic system... For example..a 27.00 dollar water bill here is 81 dollars in sewage treatment.. 24..hours of solid running isn't going to make them happy...
