I had a Sirius Stiletto 100 with a car kit. The Stiletto 100 And the car kit were stolen, but the thief broke the antenna cable (too much work to get the antenna huh?).
I filed a police report, and deactivated the Stiletto on my account.
The problem is, the Sirius tries to avoid any responsibilities in thievery. Every unit has a unique SID and it can be tracked when someone tries to register it. Sirius was nice enough to send me a free replacement radio (a stratus, but not nearly as nice as a Stiletto).
But what can I do now? Are there any ways I can (cheaply) insure a Sirius radio or gps? How can I make sure that Sirius will NOT reactivate my Stiletto for a thief?
