my sidekick id broken screen. is it worth to repair it?

i have a g1 and i love it.but i had a sidekick that i fell on it and the screen broke and all this ink is in the screen. i want to no if it is worth fixing it to use it as a backup for my g1. like if my g1 breaks and i need to use a phone. other than the screen my sidekick works fine.
