My sex drive is non-existent! Could the pill I am on be a factor?

I would just like to know from women, if the type of pill or changing to a new pill affected your sex drive in anyway? What other factors had a role to play? I also loved sex with my husband but now I feel no desire to have sex with him. I do it for him only and not because I need it. I want to enjoy sex again. Any advice or help?

Get into see a doctor could be a thyroid issue there are tests that can be done easy as pie my sister had the same feelings you have and that was her problem and now she said shes like a rabbit lol

yes it could. read the paperwork that comes with it and check its side effects

Could be your pill or any other medication your on! It could be your just not attracted to him in the way you used to be.

Your best bet is to go to the doctor and find out the side effects of anything your taking including the pill and then if thats not it seek counseling to find out what the inner problem is

I didn't realize the effect it was having on my sex life until I went off it. After having my baby I went back on - for a very short time. It had the same side effects again but doubled (I think that was partly hormonal too). Anyways - discuss it with your doctor as they can adjust your pills to find one that is more compatible with your body. In the interim - do what you have to do...astroglide, dvds, books, pics...whatever helps you get there.
