My laptop has a broken usb port and I straightened it and plugged something into it and it immediately turned off and wont turn back on! the mains power light is on but when I try to switch it on, the blue light that would normally turn on, just flashes once then nothing else happens! I'm thinking the usb port is to blame! any suggestions?
managed to fix it, one of the usb pins was bent and must have been causing a short circuit, straightened it out and problem solved!
