my samsung jet freezes and then finally crash im guessing and when i turn that back

on it said download mode? i haven't gotten to use this phone for quite a while now and it sucks cuz i really like to use it. it crash on me and i left it sitting around then finally turn it on and it gave me a screen that said download mode gt-s8000 and stays on that screen i need help trying to figure this out so im hoping someone can help me please thank you
