My samsung genio touch was locked to vodafone UK and now it froze me out?

okay I got a samsung genio touch/ samsung corby and it is locked to vodafone UK i am with vodafone Ireland and had not realsied they were different networks. i didnt think id have to unlock it so after entering the wrong unlock code a few times the phone froze me out. what should I do now? if i go into my local vodafone store will they be able to unlock it for me and will they or should i try elsewhere. thanks this phone is for my daughter and i would love to have it working for her birthday
 
You can get the unfreeze code, NCK code and SPCK code from third party. After unfreeze your phone, you have to enter the NCK code to unlock and use it with any gsm network in the world. i will suggest the website http://www.unlock-zone.com/ which is doing good service .....you can approach this website
