My samsung eternity won't turn on?

I got this phone back in october but today after having to copy contacts from another phone and charging my eternity, the eternity won't turn on. It only blinks light from the backlight
I already tried removing the battery and reinserting it and changing the battery
I also called customer support but they weren't very helpful
help pls???
This phone was a gift btw
