Hi everyone,i really need some help here ,i just bought a used 2003 honda accord i-vtec 2.0 litre. The car is factory fitted with the 6 cd changer, the problem is that the driver side speakers keep cutting out, sometimes when i go over a bump in the road, sometimes it just stops working for no reason, this car has 6 speakers and all the 3 right side speakers have this problem, now where it gets interesting is that when this happens and i hit the fm radio button, all the speakers start working, also if i switch the unit off and on again, the speakers all start working as well,i really love this car but this is driving me nuts,i bought a cd lens cleaner but that didn't help, can anyone tell me what the problem might be, i live in london and really dont want to go to get it fixed without having an idea how complicated or not the problem might be. Thank you everybody.

If the sound always comes back on radio, then it may be a loose lead connecting the changer to the head unit: Switch the stereo on & have a good wiggle of the leads & connectors at the changer, then pull the head unit out & do the same & that end.
Otherwise, it sounds like there's an internal problem with the head unit, which should just be replaced.

For all three speakers to go out, it has to be more than just a wire issue. Unless you have an amp, the amp could be damaged. My guess would be either the head unit or the amp has internal issues.

Hm-mm...that's a interesting situation you have there. The problem you may have if that there is a loose wire connected to the three speakers. Check if the right hand side speakers are any different from the others and if they are not factory installed speakers.

If so, then that might be the problem that the new ones were not correctly installed.

If not, then ring/contact the person that you brought the vehicle from and ask them if they have had any of the same problems. You never know they might be able to help you

Hope I have helped :)
