My radio will not work NEED HELP!!!!!?

OK so i must of hit a wire when installing my aftermarket radio in my 95 civic. i saw a spark and then the head unit shut off. so i checked the fuse box and the fuse was not blown at all. i got my old radio which i know for 100 percent that it works. i plugged it in and nothing happened its almost like it has no power. i checked the fuses again and they are still good. so im stuck because there is nothing else these wires go to. my constant is through the stereo its not like a different constant. i need help big time anyone?????
 
depending on what year it is, the fuse might be under the hood in a box. Look for an inline fuse going to your fuse box, might be under dash by steering column. Did you have the key on while wiring up the radio?
