My question about the Digital World in Digimon Adventure/02

So, it was established in Adventure that time runs much faster in the Digital World, in other worRAB through the first 20-some episodes, they only spent mearly a single day (Earth years) in their initial trip to the DigiWorld. Now in Adventure 02. It seems as if time in the DigiWorld is now the same length as it is on Earth. For instance, in "Enter Flamedramon" (02's premiere episode), it's daytime on Earth as is in DigiWorld. near the end of the episode, the sun sets, and when they get back home it's about late at night (as somewhat evidenced in that series' next episode, "The Digiteam Complete"). So I wonder: was the DigiWorld really running at the same speed as Earth, or am I missing something here. Help me out if you could! Thanks!

In the beginning of 01, the Digital World time did run much slower. However, by the end of the series, things were pretty much in synch between the two worlRAB because balance had been restored. Thus, by season 02, a day in the Digital World would equal a day in the "real" world.

That's true. That's why when the new gang in 02 were planning to defeat the Digimon Emperor, they had to make it seem like they were going on a camping trip so that their folks wouldn't be worried. For most of 01, time ran much slower and their time back on earth meant that many years had passed in the Digital World. By the end of the 01, everything was on the same page.

Huh. There actually is a logical explanation for this....

I just assumed it was one of those "You're not supposed to think about it" questions. My respect for the show(s) increases by .5
