My jack russel puppy just turned 1. He whines constantly. Sometimes to get something he wants, like go outside, or get out of the kennel. But 90% of the time he is just whining as he walks around the house. He also gets apprehensive about people leaving the house, as soon as anyone puts their shoes on, even just guests, he starts to freak out and whine.
We have tried ignoring it, yelling no, and even some physical discipline. Nothing works! Does anyone have any ideas of what we are doing wrong, or what we could do to fix it? We have had him since he was 6 months old and have completely trained him on our own. But we cannot get past this. Any advice would be great!
