my puppy wont eat or drink! help?

On Tuesday night my puppy started drooling and convulsing. We took him to the emergency vet. They said he overheated because all his blood work was perfect and his kidneys and liver were fine. They treated him and told us to take him to our regular vet the next morning. Our regular vet said the same but they treated him for worms. I think he might have ate and drank then. Now he is at home and won't eat or drink anything! I put water in a bowl and he wont drink it, then i put some milk in it he still wont drink it. I put some baby formula in a syringe but, he doesn't like them. That is the only way he will eat or drink something.
 
This happened to my dog and he was extremly sick. We didnt now what was going on so we took him in. They said they couldnt figure out what was wrong with him and even if they did there was probably nothing they could do bout it.; My dog would just lay there and drool all day. His puking and diahria became uncontrolable. My mom found a way for him to eat though. She was feeding him raw hamburger meat out of those tubes of meat. Even though he was eating he sickness got so mad we had to put him to sleep. Hope this helped My mom also tried the baby formula and syringe thing but that didnt do much. She did put syrup in the syringe though and forced it down. She gave syrup to him since it had a lot of calories and he was loosing so much weight
