My PSP wont work?

My psp wont work
I can turn it on but it wont acknowledge any game i put in there

Anybody know why this is happening or a way i can fix it?
 
Try updating the software on your psp

you will have to plug it in to charge and then make sure you have an internet connection, then check for updates.
