my power steering went out on my toyota sienna,will my transmission be affected also ?

I know it is a dumb thought but did the engine die (shut off)? It is the only thing that could cause both problems at the same time.
 
The power steering system is independent from the transmission. (They only thing that they share is that they both use Automatic Transmission fluid.)

If you top up your power steering fluid you may get your power steering back. As to why your Sienna will not move...?
