My pontiac g6 horn keeps going off for no reason at all can someone help me?

I'm a not so proud owner of a 2006 pontiac g6 let me tell in the 3 years I've had it its given me more trouble than a person can handle. The gears slipping, problems with the tranny power steering going out the list goes on..... My newest problem is when the car is turned off the horn starts going off non-stop I have to start the car in order for it too stop and once the car is off the horn starts going off like crazy again. I had to sit next to the car for an hour to make sure it don't sound off. What is causing this? Can someone help me please?
 
If there is an alarm system installed (factory or aftermarket) it sounds like a possible short in the system something might be grounding out when its not suppose to so when you turn the car on it recognize it so it will turn it off. If you know how to search for a short circuit i would recommend that you put a test light on it and see if there is a short circuit somewhere other then that i recommend that you take it to a mechanic
