I know why it won't work but I EXTREMELY NEED for it to work again. The metal in the usb part of the flash drive wont make a connection to my computers usb drive. The strange about it is that I was using it when it quit and it wasn't bumped or anything. I now need to hold it into place just for the computer to recognize it so I know its not the computer. I have tried other flash drives too to make sure it want my pc and even tried my laptop. The problem is it won't make a connection and I think it repairable because it broke while i was using to work it just got an error message and then I can't get it to work properly anymore. How can I restore the connectivity? I already tried rubbing alcohol
To fix confusion, I now have to basically bend my flash drive so something is connected i do not know what it is im assuming it's the metal. My flash drive works but with a little unsafe help and could somebody tell me what Poison Ivy2.3.2 is because it doesn't seem needed or safe I looked it up on youtube and its apparently for making Trojan viruses.....
I am 100% sure it's the connectivity i used soem legos gue and paper wads to hold my flash drive into place my flash drive has to corrupted files or anything of the sort. SO now I am wondering can i bring this to a computer shop and they put a new male usb port onto it or am I stuck with a screwed up flash drive?
