My photoshop 7.0 keeps crashing Plz read details?

I have photoshop 7.0 and it crashes after saying loading color prefences I tried ctrl alt shift...nothing even comes up when I do that. I tried finding Adobe Photoshop 7.0 Prefs.psp but i could not find this file worth the life of me. I really can't find much else to try to fix it, I was wondering if anyone else out there knows what I can do. My last resort is reinstalling it, because then I'd have to find the disc..so any help is greatly appriciated.
 
I would just try to bump up the computers RAM. And try avoiding running many programs with photoshop coz that sometimes causes the software to crash and keep saving your stuff every 5 minutes!
